We’ve all seen the hype of these products individually, but what does someone that has tried them all and works in an adult store think ?
I’ll start off by saying the Lemon and Rose toy are a daily request in my store, followed by the Satisfyer.
The Lemon and Rose originally rose to popularity because, well, they’re cute. Myself and many others are a sucker for anything that looks cute and discreet. But is there better available? Absolutely.
The Lemon and Rose in my opinion, are basic entry-level suction/air pulse toys. Lacking in many settings and simple. Does this make them bad? Absolutely not, but you could get something for the same price for even more features.
They work very similarly, one button for on and off and some customisation of different speeds. Cleaning is a little fiddly with the Rose in particular, as it can be hard to clean well between the petals.
The dangers of these toys specifically, are that they have been duped and duped again by many different companies. I’ve even seen them for sale on websites like AliExpress and Temu. Whilst cheap and cheerful, the danger of this is the non-use of body-safe materials. Cheap, porous plastic or TPE can harbour bacteria and cause nasty infections, no matter how hard you clean them. Always make sure you purchase from a reputable retailer.
If you wanted something a little more customisable, with a better warranty, easy cleaning, and some vibration then the Satisfyer Pro 2 Gen 3 is what I would recommend.
I’ve personally had it in my collection for a while and find myself going back to it often. It’s quiet, the handle is comfortable to hold and the super soft silicone makes it feel very smooth against the skin. The battery life is brilliant and the power speeds are quite high.
Now you might be wondering if any of these options can be used with a partner during sex?
My answer: potentially but probably no.
I find trying to hold them during penetration quite bulky and easy to get in the way, if you want something to use during sex, I’ll be reviewing the We Vibe Melt soon.
Now would I run out and purchase any of these products? Yes. If you wanted something basic and simple: The Rose and The Lemon could be fantastic starting points to your collection. If you wanted something sturdy, that will last, and give you more bang for your buck, I’d lean towards the Satisfyer Pro.
